Aunt Pina

Today was a wonderful Autumn day. The sun was shining, and it was just the right temperature to go on a hayride. So I did, and I took along with me, my two nephews and niece. Kaleb, Khristian, and Kaydance are the ones that call me Aunt Pina (Said PEE-NA). Having not seen them in a while, I was missing these three goofballs like crazy and wanted to do something exciting that they haven't done before. We went to Jason's Pumpkin Patch up in Oak Harbor and explored the land.
At Logan's we got to pet some barnyard animals, go through a corn maze, play on the playground, and so much more. I think all of our favorite part was the hayride or sifting through the "corn box" (much like a sandbox but with corn). Today we just enjoyed the company of each other and explored new things. We even tried apple cider; Kaleb didn't like it too much but the other 2 did. We had hotdogs and chips with our cider for lunch then we went to Perrysburg to go to Bass Pro (because Grandpa, who drove, wanted to go).
Kaydance (3) is in pink, Kaleb
(7) is in orange, and Khristian
(5) is in grey.
When we got to Bass Pro we looked at all the animals, ate some Toft's Ice Cream and played the target game. Which Aunt Pina won, but not by much. Then we went to Michael's Craft store and got some things to take home to make. Once I dropped them off, I had to sadly come back to school. As I was leaving, Kaydance says, "Pina, me FaceTime you, kay?" So I said alright we'll FaceTime sometime this week. I'm looking forward to it. Overall the three niblings (which is the correct gender-neutral plural for niece(s) and nephew(s)) and I had a great day. I can't wait until our next adventure, and I'm pretty sure they can't either.

  1. Hi Bri,

It sounds like you had a fantastic day relaxing with family. Fall is one of my favorite times of the year. I love the temperature and the numerous events that incorporate the season. Pumpkin patches are a great fall tradition and lots of fun. I love being able to spend some time outdoors participating in a hayride and picking pumpkins. I still haven't been to a pumpkin patch this year, but I plan on changing that during the upcoming break. Based on the pictures you posted, it looks like the day was a success from start to finish.
