With Halloween this past weekend costumes were flooding social media like crazy. There were some that are funny, like the floppy dinosaur, and others were not. Like the one pictured to the right saying "This has won Halloween."Let me make my viewpoint clear, this is NOT a Halloween costume. This is rude and disrespectful to all transgender people. For someone to have the audacity to dress up like this is completely baffling and a disgrace to mankind. I understand that our history has to been kind to everyone that has walked our earth but for a grown man to make fun of another human is unacceptable.
Halloween costumes have become something I no longer like to wear. As a society costumes are becoming more provocative, personal, and less about the spirit of dressing up. Since when to Disney princesses wear mini skirts?
It is a shame that our society is still dealing with these issues. When will people understand that if someone else's happiness doesn't interfere with yours then let good alone?
Oh my goodness, that's horrible. I'd seen some bad costumes but that is the absolute worst. I can't believe that someone would think it's okay to wear that. Some people just surprise me with how immature and inconsiderate they can be.
