A Little Late....

Part V of Share This is focused on the future. Chapter 20 first talks about the skill sets we will need to learn. It all starts with a storyteller. Brands have a way for speaking to audiences through customer-customer conversation. These stories being told don't only allow for a wider clientele but it brings softer skills of diplomacy and tenacity in a more collaborative and competitive way. We then have to look to the content creator. Setting up your content is key. Whether its visual or a curation its important to notice what your audience wants to see. Visual content, such as pictures are great because they are more appealing to a larger variety of consumers. However the content curation is the genetic makeup of the social media world. The chapter ends by explaining how technology enthusiasts use the real-time tools to establish an efficient manner of answering to their customers. Through using social media analytics, the enthusiast can monitor their brands and their customer behaviors. Although technology is steadily increasing to bigger and better things, we all have to be wary. We will always be curious and even PR workers can get distracted by the latest "shiny technical object." So if PR is what you like, look to these three "people" because they are the ones that will guide your success and make you a jack of all trades in the field.
